When you purchase a GoWesty rebuilt transaxle, you pay a "core charge." This core charge helps ensure that you return your old transaxle to us for rebuilding, and it also acts as an insurance policy for us in the event that part or all of your core is non-rebuildable. The following tables illustrate what we're looking for when we tear down your old transaxle, the monetary value assigned to each element of your core—and will also help prepare you for any "dings" you might experience when returning a core. NOTE: ADDITIONAL CORE DEDUCTIONS MAY APPLY BASED ON NON-REUSABLE CORE COMPONENTS.

Please note that your transaxle will be torn down and inspected as soon as possible, but this process may take up to 45 days from the time we receive your core.
