Will the GoWesty Water Tank Filler Nozzle fit my van’s water tank, and is it compatible with different makes or model years?

Absolutely! The GoWesty Water Tank Filler Nozzle is designed for broad compatibility and works with most van water tank systems, especially classic VW campers and modern van conversions. Its flexible tip fits common filler necks, so whether you drive a Vanagon, Eurovan, or a custom camper, this nozzle will likely work for you. If your van uses a standard hose size on the filler, you’re good to go. For unique setups, we recommend checking your filler opening size, but in most cases, installation is tool-free and hassle-free.

How does the shut-off valve and nozzle design make filling (or draining) my water tank easier and less messy while on the road?

The Water Tank Filler Nozzle from GoWesty comes with a built-in shut-off valve that lets you control the water flow, which means no more spills or surprise overflows while filling your van’s water tank. The ergonomic grip and angled tip also help you aim accurately, so you can fill up at any campsite without making a mess. Plus, the clever tip fits onto most flexible hoses and doubles as a quick gray water drain tool—just reverse it and you’ve got a tidy way to empty tanks, all while keeping your hands (and your van’s interior) clean and dry.

How do I keep my GoWesty Filler Nozzle clean, safe, and ready for fresh water use while van camping?

Maintaining the GoWesty Filler Nozzle is super straightforward. After each use—especially when switching between fresh and gray water duties—just rinse it thoroughly with clean water. The one-piece, food-safe material easily wipes clean, and its smooth surfaces don’t trap bacteria, making it ideal for safe drinking water refills. We suggest keeping the nozzle in a designated storage bag or compartment to prevent contamination and extend its lifespan. That way, you’ll have peace of mind every time you fill your van water tank!

Proposition 65: This product may contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

This water tank filler nozzle reduces back pressure, cutting fill time in half. Easily slips into water tank fitting. Features a handy shut-off valve.

Tip: A customer came to us with this great idea: the Tank Filler fits perfectly on the gray water tank drain below your van (83-91). Now you can drain your gray water without getting it all over your hand. Brilliant! (We recommend not using the same nozzle for both applications.)
