This well-maintained Central Coast Calif VW Eurovan Weekender Poptop sleeps 4 and seats 7.
Original engine and transmission that run and shift smoothly. Cruises at 80 MPH on the highway with ease.

This is an extra clean Eurovan in good shape overall. The interior is in good condition, and very comfortable for a family of 4 to camp in. The fold-down seats, the pop-top, the pop-up table, etc., all work great. It's always been a California car so no rust issues.
The exterior has a few marks here and there, nothing major, this is an 18-year old car that has seen many camping trips, so it's not in mint condition. Most everything works, but the electric locks have a mind of their own. They have locked on their own a couple times. (not a big deal, just something to be aware of)

With our daughter grown and gone our needs have changed and we’re ready to let Bessie move on to another family.

Here are some of the features:

Things that need work:
Timing chain…... a check engine light came on and then disappeared) we thought this was odd so we had our mechanic at Westy-Werks check it out. They were able to find the code in the memory and it was regarding the timing chain. The van drives fine now but they said in the near future it would need a new timing chain.
Door locks….. the electric locks have a mind of their own. My wife was accidentally locked out of the car when she left the keys on the seat to walk around to the driver’s side after loading groceries at CostCo.
Driver and passenger doors…. The metal stop in the door jam has pulled out from the door. The doors worked fine to open, shut and lock but the spring does not hold it open.
Oil leak….. There is a very small oil drip.
