I am selling my dream van. Over the past 4 years I have cherished this vehicle. I bought the van in June 2015 at that point it had a brand newly rebuilt engine, transmission, and clutch. The Odometer was reset when it was rebuilt. Originally it had 112,033 miles and 9,339 miles since the overhaul when I purchased it. Since then I have put on about 8,000 miles (for a total of ~130K miles). “Big Red” has never run or looked better! My family has grown too large for the VW and we have moved on to a small RV. My loss is your gain. This van does not have a stove or refrigerator (by design). This weekender model is very rare and desirable because the VW refrigerator, oven, sink that came with the standard camper vans are notoriously problematic. Without this stuff this van has a ton more room as compared to the camper version and it is more fuel efficient because of the reduced weight. Now days with a good cooler you only need to get ice every few days and it is way easier to cook and clean outside the van with a small camping stove. Seats 7, with 2 (rear facing) seats removable for extra cargo space. Pop up dining table. Storage closet…..
