GoWesty Vehicle Warranty:
This is important to understand: When you purchase a vehicle from GoWesty, that vehicle is sold to you as a used vehicle in AS-IS condition. There is no expressed or implied warranty pertaining to the vehicle itself. "But you just said that you stand behind all of the work that you do at GoWesty, right?" Exactly. It's not the vehicle that we warranty, but the parts and labor provided by GoWesty for the purpose of repairing or servicing the vehicle—all of which are warranted for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. It is also important to understand that this warranty does not cover towing costs, loss of your time, inconvenience, food expenses, or lodging due to a breakdown. The warranty is limited to our replacement cost of any part(s) included in the work we've done and any outside labor required to replace the part(s) at a rate of $35/hour.
That's the nuts and bolts of the warranty information, but remember: We always inspect a vehicle very carefully prior to offering it for sale, and we do our best to repair those items necessary for the vehicle to be reliable and safe. We will always represent the vehicle honestly and accurately. However, you have to understand that your newly purchased vehicle has many systems and parts that are as old as the vehicle itself, any one of which could fail.
Finally, and most importantly: If you experience trouble with your recently purchased vehicle, you have our promise that GoWesty will work diligently to resolve the problem in a fair way, whether the item that failed is warranted or not. Period.
