This replacement front cab area carpet kit for the Vanagon is made right here in the USA, and is guaranteed to fit and last for many years. All years and models of Vanagon can use this front nine-piece kit. It is made from extremely durable and colorfast marine grade cut-pile carpeting, and is available in eight colors to match your interior color scheme. The kit covers front firewall, footwell areas, aisle-way floor, and both seat pedestals.
Fits: All 1980-91 North American Vanagon. Does NOT fit European models with the raised center aisleway at the shifter, commonly found on Sinka/Doka trucks and diesel models.

THIS IS A CUSTOM-SEWN ITEM. AS SUCH, THERE ARE NO RETURNS. IF YOU WANT TO ENSURE THE CORRECT COLOR MATCH, PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR SWATCH SAMPLES.
Gluing: This carpet also needs to be glued in place to ensure the material lays flat over all the curves and contours. We suggest you purchase at least two cans of high-temp spray adhesive of any respected brand. Three cans may be necessary depending on how trigger-happy you are. Here at GoWesty, we use this stuff.
Trimming and Fitting: Successful installation of this carpet kit demands that the material overlaps in several areas. Minor trimming of the bottom layer may be required to achieve that factory-original fit. Carpet edges that reside underneath the overlapping top layer are purposely left unbound for the flattest lump-free finished look. Every top-level exposed edge is edge-bound to prevent fraying.
