The VW Vanagon came in many different suspension heights, from very low (Carat, Wolfsburg edition) to very high (Syncro). These ball joint spacers are a great way to get the suspension back in the adjustable range, especially on lifted 2WD Vanagons. If you are having trouble with alignment and/or front tires wearing badly on the shoulders, try a pair of our spacers. Read more about the spacers here.
Fitment Note: These spacers fit perfectly with most brands of ball joints out there, but we have seen some cases — Delphi brand, in particular — where the ball joint top cap was too tall or the mounting holes were offset a bit too far for them to fit properly. We have even seen different iterations from the same manufacturer fit differently. Therefore, we can only guarantee fitment with the Febi/Bilstein joints that we sell.
