Finally! A fully progressive, 2" lifting spring for the Vanagon Syncro. These springs are an exclusive GoWesty design. They are made in Germany by H&R Spring. These are the real deal, truly progressive (not just "wishful thinking" progressive). These springs are guaranteed never to sag or change. The rear suspension height can be adjusted easily and inexpensively with our spring pads (see related items below).
 
Powder coated gray. Requires special tools to install, namely a spring compressor. The installation of these springs is very difficult, even with a car hoist AND the correct tools, and requires a 4-wheel alignment after installation. GoWesty recommends that a professional shop with alignment and spring compressing tools install these springs.

Note: After installing your GoWesty lifting springs, you will need to have the front end re-aligned. It is important to note that our springs raise your Vanagon to the limit. That is, we designed these springs to make the vehicle as high as possible and still make it possible to get the alignment within specification. We have installed many sets of these springs here at our shop. We assure you: It is possible to properly align the front end after the vehicle is lifted. Please read this article for tips on doing so!

FITMENT NOTE: These springs are designed for the Vanagon waterboxer platform. If you have an engine conversion that has a different weight or weight distribution, your Vanagon may not sit level. These springs are NOT designed to compensate for Vanagon engine conversions. For additional leveling, try a pair of our spring pads, available below.
