This hitch has a 2" receiver for a ball mount, bike rack, or any 2" hitch accessory. We redesigned this hitch to be as low profile and tucked away as possible. Once installed it resides nearly flush with the bumper to eliminate crushed shin bones. Ouch, those hurt! A simple design with clean lines make this hitch easy to use and easy on the eyes. The price isn't all that bad either.
While it is Class III in strength, we rate it to Class I (100# tongue weight/1000# tow rate) as we feel it is unsafe to tow anything over 1000lbs with a stock Vanagon. This is a bolt-on installation, with all hardware and instructions included. Durable glossy black powder coat finishes the hitch for long lasting durability.
